“Focus.” That’s the problem the Bader Rutter HR team had. With over two hundred employees spread across two business centers and home offices around the country, it became difficult for HR to focus on high priority issues.
Between recruiting, training, performance management, managing legal requirements and other HR functions they found that some things were not getting the attention they needed.
The Challenge of VOI and VOE
Elena Davis, the Bader Rutter HR Manager, shared that there was a daily struggle to meet basic business critical needs. “We couldn’t focus on ensuring that access to information was only being given based on an employee’s, or former employee’s, request,” Davis says.
HR needs, like VOI and VOE verifications, can be a particularly time-intensive task where there is a heavy emphasis on remote workers.
Davis continued “We understand that in a lot of cases, verifications can be time sensitive so we didn’t want to hold up the process on our side while we track down the person that needs to give approval.“

Davis found that one of the things she liked the most about VerificationManager was what it doesn’t do. “HostedHR doesn’t require sending employee’s social security numbers. That was a huge factor in us being comfortable with using VerificationManager compared to other solutions.”
